RAW Gelände is a former railway repair yard on Revaler Straße 99 — about a 10-minute walk. Today it's home to three of the neighbourhood's best music venues, as well as a skate park, outdoor climbing wall, and Sunday clothing flea market.

Berghain is your neighbour
Berghain is about a 20-minute walk from the apartment, or one tram stop from Warschauer Straße. It sits right at the Friedrichshain–Kreuzberg border. If you're planning a visit, there's nowhere in Berlin you could stay and be closer (short of sleeping in the queue). The weekend line forms Thursday night — arrive between 1am and 3am on Saturday for better odds.
